While we've previously discussed checking in with friends and family, today I want to emphasize the importance of checking in with yourself. How have you been managing stress and exercise lately? Are you getting enough sleep? Have you been nourishing yourself adequately with food and water? These are all critical questions to ask yourself regularly.
Once you've identified the answers, take action. Prioritize self-care by ensuring you eat well, stay hydrated, and get sufficient rest. These basic needs are foundational to maintaining physical comfort and emotional stability. Addressing them first allows you to better focus on other aspects of your life.
Positive thinking is another vital aspect of self-care. Recognize when negative thoughts or self-talk arise, as they can indicate deeper issues that need attention.
